CM6是一款3U PowerPC CompactPCI单板计算机，采用集成双核或单核的飞思卡尔MPC8641处理器，提供高性能的计算。结合系统控制器，高带宽内存控制器和PCI桥以及UART和计时器，集成在单一芯片上。CM6提供的特色功能包括：可配置1GB DDR2 SDRAM（ECC），支持连接到CPCI背板的系统和非系统模式，以及一个PMC端口（64-bit/100MHz）。丰富的集成I/O包括2个千兆以太网接口，2个串行通道（RS-232 and RS-422/485），闪存和GPIO，用户可自由使用其应用的定制I/O。导冷模式的宽温范围为-40℃至+85℃。支持操作系统包括Linux，Vxworks，LynxOS和Integrity。CM6符合RoHS标准。
